Hi, I'm Jess...

My professional background has been in supporting children and their families through Counselling, Case Management and Mental Health Education. Personally, I'm a mum to two wonderful kids, playfulness is my second language and I love nothing more than spending time in nature or reading a good book.

My purpose is to support parents and teachers to make sense of children's big emotions and challenging behaviour. I want to take the overwhelm and confusion out of parenting and bring back the joy and connection. I'm deeply passionate about equipping adults with the emotional intelligence skills to help children feel seen, heard and celebrated.

Parenting can be a beautifully fulfilling experience and it can also feel really challenging and isolating at times so part of my role is to offer caregivers the space to feel truly heard, wherever they're at, whilst also equipping them with knowledge, helpful strategies and self-compassion (trust me, this last one is vital as a parent!).

Underpinning all of my work is a desire to support families to create peaceful, stable and joy filled relationships that will support their family's wellbeing for a lifetime to come.

I take an emotion-focused, play based, beyond-behaviour approach that is backed by evidence and delivered with a bucket load of compassion.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
